In 2005, ESO Surveyors expanded its presence by opening a second branch in Brisbane, Australia, marking an important milestone in the company’s growth.

The Queensland office strengthened ESO’s ability to support projects across the region while continuing to uphold the high standards the company is known for. Adam led the Brisbane team from the beginning and continues to guide the branch today, bringing the same dedication, expertise, and leadership that helped establish ESO’s reputation in the industry.

More recently, ESO further strengthened its Brisbane presence through the acquisition of Gateway Survey and Planning, a respected firm with more than four decades of experience in land surveying, town planning, and development consulting. Now also led by Adam, the acquisition expands ESO’s capabilities in Queensland and enhances the services available to clients.

For clients, this means access to a broader, more integrated range of expertise—from cadastral surveys such as subdivisions, building format plans, volumetric subdivisions, lease surveys, and easement plans, through to town planning and property development consulting including development applications, council liaison, and change of use or density advice. By bringing these services together, ESO offers a streamlined, end-to-end approach that supports projects from early planning through to delivery, reinforcing its commitment to being a one-stop-shop for clients across Queensland.

This expanded knowledge base in Queensland also serves as a resource for ESO’s teams in other states, allowing colleagues nationwide to tap into Brisbane’s enhanced expertise.
